Clicking the characters on the top of any page to change text size.
It will make all the text on the site bigger or smaller. It will
remember this on all the pages, and it will remember the size next time you
visit our site.
Click the middle A to return to standard size.
Sometimes it is easier to read text in different colours, and on a different coloured
background. Clicking on one of the colour combinations above will change the text and
background colours on all our pages. It will remember the setting next
time you visit us.
You can return to black on white at any time by clicking on Black on White
above.
(*If the colour-changing options do not appear above, it is because your browser
is not able to change colours. Some older browsers are not able to do
this.)
Modern Web Browsers and systems will let you change text size for all web
sites like this:
- In Internet Explorer, you can change text size for all sites you look at
by changing the Menu setting - View | Text Size | Larger, Medium, Smaller...
- In Firefox, the settings are - View | Zoom | Zoom In, Zoom Out
- If you have a scrolling mouse, you can hold down the Ctrl key and scroll
the mouse wheel.
There is a lot more you can do if you have specific visual or motor
impairments. We don't have room here to cover them all. Here are
a couple of sites with useful information:
BBC My Web
My Way - Explains how to set up your computer or install software so you
can: see sites better, have them read aloud to you, get help using the
keyboard and mouse. Covers various Operating Systems and a lot of
useful software you might like to use.
AbilityNet
-
A UK Charity helping users adapt and modify their technology to make it
easier to use. Includes advice on different keyboards and mice.
Particularly good for users with motor impairments.

Tabindex
All pages have the same layout. Their top and left menu
structures flow in normal tabindex order, thus:
- Home Page (top-left logo click)
- Accessibility Help Page
- Top Menu
- Left Menu
- Page Content
- email address
- Footer: Home, Sitemap, Contact Page
Where a page contains a form, tabindex starts at the first field of the form and flows through form elements before anything else on the page. The order is designed to be the natural flow though a form: i.e.
Name, Address, Subject, Message etc. Appropriate labels are associated with form
controls.
If there has been a form on a page, tabindex continues after the form with the first item on
that page (the Home Page link on the C-Change logo) and flows through the rest of the page as normal.
