Probationary Period
The probationary period should give you time to see if we are the Organisation you want to work for and similarly let us see if you are someone we would want supporting the people C-Change works for. It is also an opportunity for you to familarise yourself with your role, get to know the person you will be working for and the rest of the team, whilst introducing you to the values and practices of C-Change.
Your Probation Period commences as soon as you start to work for C-Change. It should last for 6 months, though occasionally this can be extended for up to 12 months. You will be given a probation portfolio to guide you through your probation in month to month steps. You will meet monthly with your Line Manager for support and development to review your practice and learning and to discuss any issues of concern. Areas for development may be agreed with timescales for completion and review. Additional support will be offered as necessary.
Your probation period will be discussed with you at your 5th month support and development meeting. At the meeting you will be informed whether or not you have successfully completed your probation. Your Line Manager will give you a clear reason for their decision. If your probation period is to be extended you will be informed of areas for development, discuss support needs and agree timescales. Click here to view the Probationary Portfolio.
