Respectful relationships are the foundation of good support.
Every person we work for requires their own particular kind of support, help or assistance, including in some instances, support with personal care arrangements. We recognise that relationships based upon trust, confidence and mutual respect make all the difference to the practical assistance a person receives.
We aim to recruit in a person-centred way; this means finding and matching individual staff based on a sense of who the person is, what they want to achieve and what would make the “right relationship” for them.
Every person we work for has their own Individual Working Policy. This document details the kind of person they would like to have working for them, we include information such as interests, likes and dislikes.
People we work for are involved in recruiting their own team in whatever way makes sense for them. Nobody is offered a job without being matched and approved by the person they will work for (or those who know and care about them).
