A fantastic article in todays (21.02.2012) Herald newspaper of the up-coming project 'Remembering Lennox Castle'. This project is being run by ourselves as well as Project Project-Ability Glasgow and is being launched this Friday (24th) at Project Ability's base in Trongate 103.

Lennox Castle Hospital on the outskirts of Glasgow, at the foot of the Campsie Fells, closed in 2002. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the closure C-Change and Project Ability, two Glasgow-based organisations who work with people with learning disabilities and mental health issues, have successfully applied to the Heritage Lottery Fund for a project that will mark this anniversary.
"Remembering Lennox Castle Hospital"invites ex-residents to tell their story in their own words. It is an oral history and research project where ex-residents are supported to amass and conserve their memories of Lennox Castle Hospital.
'Remembering Lennox Castle Hospital’ will launch on Friday 24 February with a Consultation Day in Project Ability, 10am - 3.30pm. Ex-residents, families and staff as well as Lennox locals who would like to take part in the project are invited to attend. Solid Gold 70’s authentically recreates an era when the music was as fabulous as the dress sense was outrageous.
